Kereshmeh Ensemble is one of today's leading Persian Music Ensembles that has worked entirely to build a bridge
between East & West.

All of the members of Kereshmeh Ensembles are also Professional Musicians with their unique technique that have been
developed over years of study & research. Kereshmeh Ensemble is Based in Vancouver and Has performed in Numerous
Concerts in Canada and USA and has appeared in variety of Folk festivals around the world.

Kereshmeh has got the previllage of playing with different young talented musicians as guest artist in their concerts.

(1976-Tehran) has
started to learn the
music at the age of 12.
He learned the Radif of
Persian classical music
with various masters of
the tradition including
Jamal Samavati,
Arshad Tahmasebi,
Mohammad Firouzi, and
Hossein Alizadeh.

Alborz Rahmani joined
the Shemshal ensemble,
founded by Hossein
Hamidi , in 2001 and
cooperated in performing
several concerts
throughout Iran.
He also joined the Sima
Bina ensemble in 2003,
performing all around
Europe.

His published music is
Aran(Azerbaijan music
(2004), Oja Daghlar
(Ghashghai music (2005),
and (Gilan music(2005) all
produced by Shemshal
ensemble.
Sohrab was born in Tehran
(1977). At eleven years of
age, he began studying
music and playing Santour
under Masoud Shenasa
supervision. During
last years, he focused on
traditional classical music,
Radif, a reperoire of more
than two hundred series
and short melodies. He has
performed several concerts
in Iran and Canada with
very well known
ensembles. Since moved to
Canada he had the privilege
to join several professional
ensembles such as Nava,
Kereshmeh and Kamand,
which provided him
opportunities to involve in
many innovative concerts.
In 2005 and 2006, he
performed over 5 concerts
with Kereshmeh and
Kamand ensemble in
special events such as
Persian New year,
Women¹s World Day and
Harmony Festival.

Ali Sajjadi was born in Tehran,
1980, started learning Setar
(Persian string instrument) and
Radif (Persian old melodic
figures) with Master Masoud
Shaari in 1995; three years
later he started learning Barbat
and Oud (Persian bass
instrument) with Masters
Hossein Behroozinia and
Arsalan Kamkar.

He has performed with various
bands in Iran and Canada, as

Ramin Bahrami was born in
Tehran, Iran in 1965. He
began studying tombak at
the age of 10 with Masters
Amir Naser Eftetah and Later
with Mahmoud Farahmand
when he joined the Centre
for Preservation of Persian
Music.
In 1988 He Immigrated to
Canada and Start study Art
& Graphics while Teaching
Music.

Ramin has performed with
some of the most important
Persian Musicians and toured
in Canada, USA & Japan at
Variety of Festivals.

He has helped and Produced
a lot of Concerts for World
Music and recorder in few CD
with Persian musicians and
other world musicians.

Ramin is one of the founder
of Nava, Kamand &
Kereshmeh Ensemble.
